Do you accept custom orders?

We do offer customization to our existing pieces, although we do not offer fully custom designs.

Some ideas for customization:

-Adding a small stone (ie a birthstone) to the inside of a band

-Working with us to select a gemstone instead of a diamond

-Adding or removing stones to a design

-Changing the width of a band

-Changing the shape, size and/or quality of stones


How to clean your Majorel Atelier pieces:
Clean your ring 2-3 times a year at home by filling a container with warm water and mild hand soap. Let the ring soak in the solution for 15 minutes, gently scrubbing with a soft-bristled brush before removing. Rinse with running water and blot dry with a cotton cloth.

Can I resize my ring? It depends on the ring. For resizing inquiries, please reach out to shop@majorelatelier.com and we're happy to help. Our resize fee is 25 KWD.

What quality diamonds do you use? For our pieces our standard quality is H color and VS1 clarity or higher (unless otherwise requested). 

Above 3/4 carat, we'll work with you directly to source the best stone for you.

What should I consider when choosing a diamond?
Traditionally, the quality of a diamond is broken down into the 4 C's: Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat weight.  The most important factors depend on preference along with the setting and shape of the stone.  Also, each diamond is truly unique, and should be inspected individually before making the final decision.  

We understand this can be an overwhelming process, which is why we are here to help.

What is your return & exchange policy?

At this time, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on engraved or customised items.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If you would like to change or cancel your order, please reach out as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, if we have already begun production fees may apply.

What is your shipping method?

We ship via DHL Express once the item is completed (our standard lead time is 3 weeks). Please note that signature is required on all orders.

Do you ship internationally?

We do ship internationally; we are not liable for any duties or taxes incurred.

Can I return an engraved or customized item?

At this time, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on engraved or customized items.

What is the status of my order?

Once the order is placed, our lead time is 3 weeks as each Majorel Atelier piece is carefully hand-crafted.

Once your piece is ready to ship, we will send you an email with tracking information (we ship via DHL Express, and please note that signature will be required on all jewelry orders).

If you have questions in the meantime, don't hesitate to reach out at shop@majorelatelier.com.

Can I rush my order?

Rushing orders is available on certain items by request for a 75kwd rush fee.  Please check with us at shop@majorelatelier.com  to see if this option is available for your order.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

We designed our packaging in a way to be as a gift wrapped. We sealed eached packaging with a creamy wax that has our initials.

How many characters can I engrave on my ring?

We offer up to 10 characters engraved complimentary on each ring.

How do I find my ring size?

To Consider:

The width and shape of a ring affect ring fit. Thicker bands fit more snugly than narrow bands and require a larger size. (We recommend sizing up 1/2–1 full size for wider bands.)

Multiple rings worn next to each other on the same finger may also require sizing up.

Your finger size will change slightly throughout the day depending on a variety of factors, like temperature, diet, and/or medication. We recommend taking measurements at the end of the day, and when your fingers are warm (fingers are smaller in the early morning and when cold).

The sizing gauge will give you a fairly accurate reading but is subject to human error. We recommend measuring your finger size up to three times for the most accurate read.

How do I care for my jewelry piece?

- Gold is a soft metal, making it susceptible to abrasion, dents, and scratches. Since Majorel Atelier pieces have a high polish finish they will inevitably become scratched over time. We do like the softened, heirloom qualities that come through with wear and use — but any trusted jeweler will be able to restore your piece to its original finish. 

- Remove rings when doing anything that might stress or damage the piece (i.e. gardening or hand-washing dishes) and when applying topical lotions, perfumes, or household chemicals.

- Avoid knocking a ring with stone setting against hard, solid surfaces.- Rings with prong settings will require re-tightening depending on use and wear, but we recommend around every two years to ensure longevity.

- When not worn, store your gold pieces somewhere secure (like our Majorel Atelier jewelry pouch!) to protect from the elements of daily exposure.
